Students understand season with thumb painting and cotton dabbing techniques

In order to make classroom learning interesting and full of fun, the kindergarten section of DC Model School believes in arranging hands on activities for the students which encourage them to experiment independently, explore analytically, think critically, and learn from their own experiences. The concept of seasons of the year was introduced to the students through an amazing activity for the kids of Prep-I. To reinforce the concept of the seasons, the students created beautiful, colourful and eye catching pictures highlighting the prominent changes in each season with thumb painting and cotton dabbing techniques. The students participated in the exciting activity enthusiastically and enjoyed the understanding of seasons with colour smeared fingers. They displayed their drawings with great proud. The vice Principal Ms. Deepika Bhardwaj applauded students’ efforts and further said that self-directed learning activities in turn support the knowledge outside of students’ educational environment. The coordinator Ms. Nidhi Puri extended her gratitude to the parents for their valuable support.
